Christine Chew started GirlWatch Films to bring together a team of filmmakers devoted to telling stories about women. Collaborators include Kathleen Harquail, Kate Johnston, Jessy Leak, Dawn Chomitsch and Paul Lee. Christine has also teamed up with actress Yanna Baizer to make a couple of quickie no-budget YouTube shorts. The Deconstruction of Alison Pill and Olga’s Story were shot guerilla-style and can be seen on YouTube. Christine’s first short Falling For Caroline is on the tail end of its festival run with Audience Award wins in Montreal, Rochester, NY, and Bern, Switzerland.
